The following terms are for The Log Factory and/or thelogfactory.com.au. and/or our affiliated companies and/or our subcontractors. These terms may, or may not, apply to all transactions, sales,  communications, purchases, deliveries, liabilities or otherwise obtained legal relationships from this website, namely thelogfactory.com.au


If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account and/or password. The Log Factory and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate registrations, remove or edit content, or cancel orders – at their sole discretion. We agree not to on-sell, distribute or otherwise release your personal details. On the day of delivery, transactions are processed and all recorded credit card details are erased from our records, for you protection.


All goods purchased through thelogfactory.com.au will remain the property of The Log Factory until they have been paid for in full. You the customer hereby irrevocably authorises The Log Factory to enter any land or property on which the goods were, or may be, left or deemed to reside to retake possession of, and sell, any unpaid goods without liability for trespass or damage. Tradesman and the like who may be on-selling timbers purchased through The Log Factory are duly bound to notify their customers of these terms.


Risk and responsibility after delivery with respect to products purchased from The Log Factory shall pass immediately to you the customer at the time of delivery. However until the products are paid for in full, then you the Customer will hold the said products as a mere bailee for The Log Factory, and will accept the same risk and responsibility as if they had already been paid for.

You, the customer, warrant that you have taken adequate steps to identify and/or eliminate delivery problems. You further warrant that the delivery address and access roads are adequately weight rated and/or wide enough and/or high enough for our trucks. You further warrant that you have taken adequate steps to eliminate unloading delays.

Delivery will, in most cases, be made by a Hiab (Crane) truck which will require a driveway width of approximately 3.0mtrs. You the customer hereby indemnify The Log Factory in the event you request us to Crane timber onto adjacent property or boundaries. Unloading time in normal circumstances is approximately 10-30 minutes.

You the customer must ensure that either yourself, a representative or a clearly identifiable delivery sign is present on delivery


You accept a False Call charge of $150 if we are unable to unload the products at your premise.
In the event of unnecessary delays caused by you, the customer, then a Waiting time penalty of $20.00 per 15 minutes or part thereof (after 30 minutes)may be levied.


Every effort will normally be made to notify you of a problem arising from a late delivery. Advised or not, unavoidable or not, The Log Factory does not offer any delivery guarantees and does not accept liability for additional costs incurred by you the customer due to our delay.


thelogfactory.com.au and its affiliates attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, thelogfactory.com.au does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by thelogfactory.com.au itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.


The Log Factory warrants that our timber will meet and exceed Australian standards for both treatment level, treatment penetration, structural integrity and seasoning (where applicable). Due to the nature of Treated Pine we are unable to warrant that the product will be free of knots, free of knot holes, free of twist or bow and/or free of other unspecified defects. You, the customer, warrant that:- occasional twist and bow can be removed with fixing, knot holes can be putty filled, and that any other defects can be disguised or made good with adequate carpentry skills.

The Log Factory considers our timber to be of good quality and will generally not accept claims of poor quality.

You, the customer, must contact us by phone within 12 hours of the delivery if you wish to make such a claim. In such a claim, evidence of correct storage during this period is essential. This may include, but not solely, evidence the timber was stored in a cool environment, strapped when not in use, oiled or painted where necessary, correctly fixed in place etc


We do not normally accept refunds or exchanges. In either event, should this not be the case, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 40% of the purchase price, a minimum restocking fee of $75.00, and/or additional cartage charges as necessary.


The Log Factory warrants that it will package all timbers in a manner that enables the delivered order to be checked. We will not accept claims for shortages if the strapping has been removed.


Whilst unlikely, despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalogue may be incorrectly priced. When discovered, we will at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.


You will be contacted by a staff member to confirm the delivery details. Following this first contact, you have 6 hours to cancel your order. Failure to adequately notify us of a cancelled order will result in a Cancellation Fee of $25.00


You, the customer, warrant that you have made yourself aware of the safe handling guidelines for Treated Pine, CCA or otherwise treated. You, the customer, declare that the some of safe handling requirements would include suitable Dust masks, eye protection, gloves, washing, washing of workwear, correct disposal. Under no circumstance should Treated Timber be burnt.

You the customer warrant that you understand the current end use requirements of Treated Pine timbers. You further assert that you understand the probable risk caused by Arsenic treated timber (CCA) as being carcinogenic.


thelogfactory.com.au grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of this site and not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it, except with express written consent of thelogfactory.com.au. This license does not include any resale or commercial use of this site or its contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of this site or its contents; any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another merchant; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools. This site or any portion of this site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without express written consent of thelogfactory.com.au. You may not frame or utilize framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo, or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout, or form) of thelogfactory.com.au and our affiliates without express written consent. You may not use any meta tags or any other “hidden text” utilizing thelogfactory.com.au’s name or trademarks without the express written consent of thelogfactory.com.au. Any unauthorized use terminates the permission or license granted by thelogfactory.com.au. You are granted a limited, revocable, and nonexclusive right to create a hyperlink to the home page of thelogfactory.com.au so long as the link does not portray thelogfactory.com.au, its affiliates, or their products or services in a false, misleading, derogatory, or otherwise offensive matter. You may not use any thelogfactory.com.au logo or other proprietary graphic or trademark as part of the link without express written permission.


All Account Holders will be notified by email of any changes to the Terms and Conditions. If you, the Account Holder do not approve of the new Terms and Conditions, you may contact thelogfactory.com.au to cancel any orders and/or your account as required at no charge.


This site is provided by thelogfactory.com.au on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Thelogfactory.com.au makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of this site or the information, content, materials, or products included on this site. You expressly agree that your use of this site is at your sole risk. To the full extent permissible by applicable law, thelogfactory.com.au disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Thelogfactory.com.au does not warrant that this site, its servers, or e-mail sent from thelogfactory.com.au are free of viruses or other harmful components.
